Thanks to the singers from the Bournemouth Bach Choir yesterday afternoon for giving up time to ensure the opening of our Christmas Tree Festival was warm, successful and happy. I think it was all 3 of those things, and additionally a cracking good sing with everyone informal and festive. Thank you all!

Thank yous are in order today I think after a really fun evening with Liz as our Quiz organiser. Thank you Liz for making the evening a real success and fun! Thank you to Jane, our wonderful treasurer, who did much of the organising of the evening, supplying prizes and such scrummy cakes. Thanks to all the bakers, Janet, Ros and Sue H. Thanks to all who donated raffle prizes and money donations to the evening and to Sue Gosling for plant sales. Thanks to all the helpers for setting up and clearing up. Thanks to Janet and Nigel, as always for drinks, and Pat (chief helper). If I have forgotten anyone, I do apologise. Lastly thanks for all those who came and joined in the fun. Congratulations to the winning team!
