concert day information

Rehearsal Saturday afternoon in the cathedral from 1.45pm – 4.45pm
Please be in your seats by 1.35pm, ready to sing
There is a Quiet time in the cathedral from 5pm followed by evensong
Green room:
- We will have use of St Thomas & Edmund Chapel but considering evensong, we will have to be quiet! Main use for us will be after 6pm
- The cathedral refectory will be open until 5pm serving light lunches, cakes and hot drinks
- The refectory will remain open for us all to use as a warm space from 5pm, but will NOT be selling food and drinks. You may bring your own sandwiches to eat in the refectory after 5pm
Parking:
- Cathedral parking at £10 per day, NO concessions and is manned at the gate. Parking after 4pm is free (if you can find a space!)
- Other car parks within short walking distance
Concert Dress (as usual):
- Ladies– Long ankle length black skirt (NOT mid calf) or smart black trousers. (No Jeans). Black long or 3⁄4 length sleeved top. Long black dress is also acceptable
- Gentlemen– Black Dinner Suit. White shirt. Black bow tie
- All wear smart black shoes please (No trainers or jeans.)
- Please do not wear strong perfumes
Concert interval: We ask that you all only take 10 minutes for the interval and then line up and ready to file on stage
